Program Description

The 493 Main Street site is a model for a Head Start/Extended Day Program that provides full-day, full-year care for preschool children, to assist parents who are in training or employed. The full-year schedule allows parents to continue or pursue education, employment training, or work opportunities. Families can strive towards economc self-sufficiency while their children attend a high quality early childhood program.

Eligibility
.............................................................................................................................................................
Children aged 3 to 5 years from families who meet federal guidelines for Head Start income eligibility and state guidelines for vouchers. Families must either be in a training program or working, depending on the type of voucher.
